Michael Gerber has been with Solution Providers since 2001. Until 2009 he was Managing Partner for the areas Insurance, Human Resources and International Development. Today he is CEO of the Group and drives the internationalisation ahead.

His professional career began as technical project manager for Web applications with Living Systems in Germany where in subsequent years he was Director New Ventures responsible for setting-up a holding company. He then went on to become a Consultant for the Boston Consulting Group, Switzerland, in the area of Financial Services and IT.

During his consulting career, Michael Gerber focused predominantly on direct and re-insurance. The emphasis lay on the development of conceptual and structural challenges of the companies. He has extensive experience in the areas of distribution concept and strategy, customer orientation, process optimization and increasing efficiency as well as extensive realization skills particularly as regards technical aspects.

Michael Gerber studied Physics at Karlsruhe University in Germany, at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Physique de Grenoble in France and at the University of Sheffield in England. He completed his studies with the title of Diplom Physiker and Master of Philosophy. In 2006, he obtained a diploma in insurance management at the University of St. Gallen.

Michael Gerber was born in 1969, is married and lives with his family in Switzerland.
